Just a follow up to my horrendously bad fashion attitude from the post about The Twins. Regarding the uber trend here in Los Angeles (Elsewhere, too? I don’t think there is any other climate that could support it) of pairing Uggs with shorts and/or mini-skirts, my boyfriend pointed me to this snippet from the most recent Entertainment Weekly:
Oh, America Ferrera. You are adorable and your body is all yours which, in this town, is really saying something.

I was waiting til I felt better to comment on the UGS and mini-skirt phenomenon, but you keep throwing it in my face :).
You know, I only live down here in Orange County and I see the same crap you do…we must get rid of UGGS…who they hell needs big fluffy boots here? My personal fave is the girls at Laguna Beach wearing short shorts and UGGS!

Uggs are fantastic in the snow, but they do not belong with mini-skirts–this is true.
Yay for America Ferrera and Jennifer Hudson. It’s the Year of the Real Woman!
